This project involved a high-end commercial café positioned around a calm, natural urban coffee experience. Floor-to-ceiling glass, warm wood tones, metal grid ceilings and outdoor greenery defined the space. Our challenge: furniture that felt part of the architecture — not simply placed inside it.
Project Background
The space was designed as a contemporary café blending premium coffee, light dining and social interaction. The client wanted furniture that unified the space — not competed with its glass walls, warm lighting and outdoor views.
Rather than selecting individual pieces, the client approached us for a full-zone furniture configuration covering window seating, booth areas, lounge zones and bar counter positions.
Client Requirements
Design harmony. Furniture must match the café's natural, restrained aesthetic — no heavy commercial pieces disrupting the lightness of the space.
Commercial durability. High-traffic daily use means seating must withstand constant pressure, movement, cleaning and repositioning without degrading.
Zone-specific solutions. Window area for quick visits, booth area for extended stays, lounge zone for social seating and a bar counter configuration.
Cohesive colour palette. Warm brown wood, black leather cushions, stripe fabric and silver metal legs — nothing overpowering the clean architectural lines.

Window Zone
Slim metal-leg dining chairs with wooden backs and black cushioned seats. Minimal frame keeps views unobstructed. Round tables optimised for two — for turnover and social coffee stops.
Bar Counter Zone
Black leather and warm brown wood leisure chairs echoing the coffee equipment and dark cabinetry. Slim metal structure with wooden armrests — a vintage-modern contrast.
Booth & Lounge Zone
Warm brown upholstered booth seating for extended stays — reading, working, meeting. Stripe-fabric accent chairs as focal pieces creating spatial identity and depth.
Production Control
Frame structure, cushion thickness, back angle, upholstery edge detail and metal leg stability were all controlled to ensure pieces matched both visual design and commercial performance.
Project Result
After installation, the furniture integrated naturally with the café's architectural language. Natural light softened the wood tones and warm upholstery. The furniture did not compete with the space — it completed it.
