A dim sum restaurant in Hong Kong, approx. 280 sqm, positioned as a retro-modern dim sum dining space blending Eastern and Western elements. Pink terracotta arches, terrazzo, green tiles and arched ceilings paired with blue and pink upholstered booths create a playful yet refined atmosphere.

Client needs: dim sum service has high turnover and needs high seat density; booths must be comfortable and echo the pink arches and colour-block theme; long tables must serve communal dining; fabrics must be wear-resistant, easy to clean and meet commercial fire standards.

Solution

Blue and pink colour-block upholstered booths with round tables along the arches, enclosed and echoing the palette; dark-wood communal tables for group dining; lightweight chairs for open seating and fast turnover; fabrics stain-treated and fire-tested.
